exploring the images and narrative fragments of the sea god Proteus. Original essay subtitled “ways home” borrows the structure and theme of a Proteus essay in 43 parts by visual artist Johan Widén, meandering on the global migrations and current war in Syria; in the Odyssé the Trojan warrior Menelaos catches the sea god in order to know what he has to do in order to get back home. Reworked, shortened and illustrated version of the essay focuses on the metamorphoses between the inorganic and organic, between human and animal told in the same myth. Published in the magazine Glänta, issue 2.15. (2015)
