as a joint research project in the Narrativity Studio in Malmö Runecast departed from the ancient islandic text Völuspà and it’s reminiscent oral features: a poetic, dialogic narrative structure with mythological time-space relations. The result was an installation with video projection on sand, where an enclosed being, the seer Vala, gives advice and images from the rich Nordic mythology as part of a fortunetelling ceremony.
